Our client is a leader in the supply of car components. They require experienced machine operators for a casual opportunity based in Alexandria. This is an ongoing afternoon shift role paying $31+
Primary Duties:
- Manual Handling
- Setting up machine tooling
- Use of hand measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers etc)
- Machine Operation
- Processing springs and coils through-out the manufacturing process
- Quality control
Essential Criteria:
- Have worked in a production/ manufacturing environment as a machine operatorUnderstand machine setting
- Have good mechanical aptitude
- Computer skills for ercording data and reading specifications
- Be physically fit and able to pass a full functional test including a drug and alcohol screen
- Afternoon Shift Available to start ASAP
Desirable (non essential) Criteria:
- Forklift License
- Overhead crane experience
- This is a full time ongoing casual role.
