About the business and the role
Dual Chelate Fertilizer Pty Ltd is a multinational venture with patented and advanced technology in plant nutrition. The company is heavily investing in the technology and will be expanding the Australian operation.
The Role
We are seeking a responsible, organized and experienced individual to join our team as a driver and logistic coordinator. Reporting to the project manager, the main focus of this role will be loading and delivering of fertilizer to customer sites in 4-hour travel windows. This role involves 50% driving and 50% onsite/office activities. The position will be based in Robinvale.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Contact clients and coordinate the deliveries.
- Delivery of materials that includes responsibility for compliance with axle weights tolerances and safety.
- Ensuring customers and the general public are treated in a courteous and professional manner and the vehicle is presented clean and tidy.
- Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance required
- Teamwork and working with all personnel
- Coordinating with manufacturing staff & helping for manufacturing staff whenever possible.
Skills and experience
A heavy combination drivers license (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) but not necessary required. We will be providing trainings and facilitate to obtain the license for suitable candidate with correct attitude.
Desirable: Minimum of 2 years B double truck diver experience.
A Cert III in Road Transport (desirable, but not essential)
Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations.
Ability to complete documentation associated with collection and delivery of product.
Willingness to work with computer, GPS fleet tracking system and email communication. (Trainings will be provided).
Willing to participate in daily rosters and be adaptable to changing shifts including extended shift.
Hours - 8.am start 5.00pm finish (overtime after 40 hours/week)
Valid fork lift licence is required
