The Opportunity
The Biotechnology Manufacturing Facility at CSL Behring is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to join a high performing team at our advanced manufacturing facility in Broadmeadows.
In this role You will participate in routine formulation of large scale buffer and media solutions to support the manufacture of recombinant protein Active Pharmaceutical
Ingredients (API), along with, assisting in the commissioning, validation and re-validation of equipment. Using your experience, you will maintain cGxP compliance of Operations.
Please note the role is a 12 month fixed term contract. You will accrue annual leave and sick leave as part of this position.
The Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance to all CSL Behring policies and cGxP regulations
- Understand and adhere to all relevant manufacturing procedures
- Always keep good records in compliance with the CSL Behring procedures
- Participate in production activities to meet production schedules
- Ensure that all productions deviations are reported; assist in the investigation of critical deviations
- Ensure that production areas and equipment are clean and when appropriate disinfected
To be successful
- A minimum of tertiary qualifications in Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical/Process Engineering or Food Science Technology
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries would be highly desirable
- Experience using the full Office suite - MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Project and MS-Outlook
- Excellent customer focus.
