The opportunity?

As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy a 12 month fixed-term position has become available for a Vendor Manager. In this role you will identify, develop and implement operational processes to reduce cost, improve efficiency and effectiveness of the total Tyre Management program whilst maximising business value across the Toll Group. This role has the potential to grow and develop into a long term procurement career opportunity.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Review products being used in all Toll operations to rationalise the tyre range and ensure lowest cost is being delivered
  • Actively engage with the internal stakeholders in the evaluation of wear life performance, cut chip resistance, durability and case utilisation to ensure the right product is being utilised for the right application delivering the expected results
  • Assist the Tyre Category Manager in the analysis of tyre usage across Toll’s global operations
  • Undertake tracking and reporting of all tyre related improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate?

Through your tertiary education or work experience you have developed exceptional skills in problem solving. A background in the tyre industry, procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly regarded. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus. Commercially astute and strategic in approach you will have the ability to adapt your thinking to a variety of situations.
