We are looking for a Quality / Technical Improvements Officer to maintain and repair plant equipment;

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality systems and technical improvements officer to join Visy Board, Truganina.
The main objective of the role is improving quality, quality systems, manufacturing, paper, recycling, production, with a lean, 5S, Six Sigma mindset.
This position reports to the Technical Improvements Supervisor and is a key member in the Production team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- System and Compliance
- Supply Chain Interaction
- Continuous Improvement
- Data Driven Decisions
- Training and Process Knowledge
- Marketplace
- Behavioural
- Product testing and inspection
- Analyse data trends for improvement and initiate action plans.
- Support an effective and compliant Quality Food Safe Management system
- Conduct internal audits to schedule
- Ensure allocation of corrective actions and items are followed up
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following capabilities;
- Ability to build teams, with succession planning and drive a results driven culture
- Supporting functional managers / supervisors within their functional areas
- Stakeholder management internal/external
- Analytical, Process and Continuous Improvement
- 5S, Lean Six Sigma understanding
- ISO/GSFI
- Manufacturing/Production industry experience
- Strong Computer systems / Microsoft suite
- Process Management and KPI reporting
- Quality systems and process
- Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing
