The Company
Our client is an International & Australian success story experiencing massive growth who are expanding their corporate logistics operations in Sydney's West.

Role
They are seeking and Logistics Executive with a strong supply chain background who will help them drive a number of key projects including the introduction of new systems throughout the organisation over the next few years taking them to the forefront of transport and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for a small team in this newly created role and will be working with both international and domestic shipping in this fast paced business. Key to your success will be your strong leadership and relationship skills as you will be required to relate with diverse teams and have key influence. As this business is investing in their future the current systems are not intuitive so you will be someone who can work with older systems whilst you are inherently involved in the project management and roll out to the new. This is an office based role working Monday to Friday however the successful applicant will have a key understanding of DC operations and will be working in those environments from time to time.

Skills and experience

• A completed University Bachelor or Masters Degree 
• Proven leadership experience & relationship skills
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Project management background
• Ability to train, develop and influence
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Backgrounds in shipping, freight forwarding, imports & exports well suited
• Professional, intelligent and articulate personality
