The position
Cleanaway is on a strategic growth trajectory and we have a great opportunity for an Operations lead based at our Wetherill Park site. You will be responsible for Cleanaway’s Equipment Service operations within the greater Sydney area. This is a challenging hands on role where you will lead the performance and service across internal and external customers and supplier network.
Your responsibilities include:
- Achieving defined operational targets and business objectives
- Identification and implementation of great outcomes
- Integrate actively with sales and suppliers
- Plan, lead and achieve operational synergies internally and externally
- Huge scope to develop and grow within the business
Skills and experience
To be successful for this position you will require experience as a seasoned Operations lead preferably in the waste management or transport and logistics industries. You will also require the following:
- Proven experience in managing operational team members
- Industry experience and insight
- Strong demonstrated ability to be a dynamic, proactive leader
- Ability to influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient computer skills including MS Excel
- Sound time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi task
- Desire to challenge the norm and deliver cultural change and high performance
