The company
Laurent Bakery is a leading and well established company producing a wide range of traditional European products for our own retail stores and our growing list of impressive wholesale customers. Our business is experiencing unprecedented growth so we have a number of opportunities. A key role within the business that we are currently seeking is a motivated and process driven Technical & OHS Manager to lead our exceptional team to new heights.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring your team is on top of regulatory, quality and globally recognised food safety standards.
- Ensuring that all sites and facilities are safe and that all staff are trained in Safe Systems of Work.
- Providing Technical advice to the Development and Purchasing teams to ensure that products are developed within the confines of customer requirements.
- Responsible for the coordination of the OHS Management system, ensuring all sites and facilities are safe and that all staff are trained in the safe systems of work.
- Chairing the OHS Steering Committee and driving the maintenance and implementation of safe systems of work across all sites.
Your Background
You will be educated to degree level with extensive experience in working within a technical or QA management role. You will be extremely knowledgeable in working with globally recognised Food Safety standards and Systems. You will have a proven track record changing cultures and developing teams and hence your interpersonal and leadership skills will be exemplary. You will be driven, quality focused & have excellent attention to detail with an ability to work under pressure.
