ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a privately owned multinational whom pride themselves on over 50 successful years in Freight Forwarding. With close to 100 offices worldwide, they are a serious player in International Freight Forwarding and Logistics and seeing fantastic growth due to their customer focused initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within a close-knit team environment, you will be responsible for all Export Air & Export Sea shipments ex Sydney. Your Operations Supervisor holds all the knowledge required and is always on hand to provide training and assistance where required. Shipments will be handled A-Z, from Collection through to Delivery / POD Confirmations where required.

DUTIES
• Accepting and facilitating Export Bookings directly with customers
• Direct communication with Customers / Service Providers & Overseas agents
• Coordinating collection of cargo with transport providers
• Preparation of Export documentation and other relevant forms where required
• Pre-Alerting overseas offices and agents
• Track & Trace of international cargo
• Invoicing - disbursement and final
• Provide a superior level of Customer Service

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
• 2-4 years’ experience in a local Export Air & Sea environment
• Understand end to end export process  
• Professional approach to the work day  
• Demonstrated ability to manage current internal and external relationships   
• High level Customer Service skills
