The Company
We are a locally owned and operated company located in Maroochydore and are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Warehouse Storeperson person to join our team.
Candidates with a strong understanding and experience of dispatching and receiving orders, providing exceptional customer service and have excellent communication skills would have an advantage to secure this position.
The position is Casual – approximately 20-25 hours per week.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you'll be responsible for but not limited to:
- Complete orders according to work orders and company policies
- Maintain delivery manifests
- Ensure goods are received and despatched accurately in accordance with receipts, invoices and packing slips/work orders
- Assist with stock control as instructed by the director
- Conduct vehicle stock-takes
- Help customers with orders over the phone/in person/via email
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. WH&S, Environmental, Workplace Policies
- Maintain safe and clean workspace
- Other administrative duties as directed
The Candidate
- Must have previous solid experience in a similar role
- To be highly organised and possess great time management skills
- Attention to detail achieving high level data accuracy
- Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Systemised organisation skills with a focus on time management
- Be able to follow documented process/procedures and direction from management along with the ability to work autonomously
- Must have current MR Licence & Forklift Licence
