An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Coordinator - Systems.
Primary objectives:
- Quality assurance of Electrical, Entertainment, Engineering and Navigation systems.
- Perform system audits on production boats
- Audit quality procedures and supporting documentation.
- Assist production managers with ownership and training of quality control processes.
- Assist production managers with product / process improvement based on systems and functionality audit data.
General duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Carry out systems audits as directed.
- Compile, edit and e-mail audit reports.
- Monitor and clearly communicate completion of each boats systems quality status through to production sign off / customer hand over.
- Attend hand overs during build process to audit quality control documentation and inspection processes.
- Communication of quality / warranty issues with relevant departments.
- Assisting with extra labor as required and ensuring electrical skills and knowledge are maintained.
- Understand and adhere to the employee handbook, legislation, regulations and all workplace policies.
- Department general duties and responsibilities as requested by manager e.g. housekeeping, administration, maintenance, festivals, water front support.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Trade Qualified and Licensed Electrician preferred
- Boat Building experience
- Broad knowledge of Riviera products and experience with boat systems including electrical, engineering, boat building, operation.
- High level of proficiency with MS office.
- Understanding of C zone, entertainment and navigation systems.
- High level of communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality first time
- A strong understanding of safe work practices and workplace health and safety
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
