We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our Brisbane Manufacturing and Packaging site.  Working in our state-of the-art facility reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain.  The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the receiving warehouse, sampling, set-up and dispatch from the site.  This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-established team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effective Leadership and Management of the Warehouse; including developing and maintaining a workforce management plan that incorporates staffing requirements, training and development, and succession planning
  • Creating a continuous improvement culture with ongoing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Contribute to the development of a customer focused stores department, including the maintenance of strong relationships with other functional areas and external customers
  • Manage all financial aspects of the business unit by monitoring and controlling financial performance, including analysing and managing variances to budget, Maintain a high stock accuracy and ensuring timely disposal of product
  • Actively participating in the identification and implementation of strategies to improve site quality compliance
  • Build and lead a strong safety culture and ensure that all relevant risks assessed and thoroughly analysed before the related strategy is developed and implemented

Key criteria for this role include:

  • A strong knowledge of and expertise in material handling/work flow techniques/logistics
  • Extensive leadership experience within a warehouse environment and passion to lead a successful team
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to set and action priorities
  • Strong communication skills with a customer focus
  • Developed analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Commanding knowledge of OH&S principles
  • High competency in ERP systems including SAP
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of GMP
  • Forklift licence
