At PFM Corp we are a leading National Sensitive Freight, 3PL Warehouse & Logistics Company are seeking a self-motivated and experienced forklift driver / warehouse assistant.

Our Warehouse facility is located in Dandenong South

Duties

As a Warehouse Stores person you will be responsible for the storing, picking, relocating and packing of materials using integrated warehouse scanners and systems.

Perform all shipping & receiving functions to ensure a smooth flow in the process of receiving inbound materials and processing of orders that are being shipped out.

The employee in this position receives general supervision from the Warehouse Manager.

The role consists of a mixture between tasks on the Warehouse floor and also operating with a WMS environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, wellbeing and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies

Qualifications

• Drivers Licence
• High School Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Forklift licence – Reach experience is essential
• Truck licence – Preferred but not essential

Skills

• Ability to operate a WMS and strong computer skills
• Advanced problem solving and fault finding abilities
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to manage all aspects of the role in a pressurised environment
• Knowledge and application of Industrial and personal safety behaviours
• Proven work experience in a similar role within the Transport & Logistics Industry
• Communicate effectively with warehouse manager, shift colleagues and operations management to ensure the long term goals and targets are met.
• Support companywide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers
• Participate in the development of new systems and processes
• Be an active functional member of the Warehouse team.

Experience

• Previous experience in (print, load / unload trailers, 3PL is preferred but not essential
• Forklift Driving skills
• Computer/Scanner aptitude
• Experience using WMS
