The Role

Our procurement function leverages our $2b plus buying power across the Fulton Hogan group. We are looking to hire a National Procurement Advisor to help support the Australian business.

Reporting directly National Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to support and lead the execution of procurement activities such as tendering, contracting, negotiations, issue resolution and supporting the business to drive saving though category buying channels. Working closely with Finance to develop and maintain spend analysis, contract performance and reporting. You will be a member of a team small but effective team helping to develop procurement policies, strategies and objectives of the overall business.

To be successful for this role it is seen that you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with a focus on supply chain, procurement, purchasing and/or sourcing strategy.
  • Minimum 4+-years' experience in procurement, preferably within the Construction or related industry
  • Relevant experience in a company with a mature purchasing function, including experience in the selection of suppliers – inquiry and negotiation
  • Sourcing experience and proven proficiency in managing major spend categories
  • Proven ability to partner closely with the business and promote integrity, compliance and discipline throughout the source to pay process
