Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with our 3rd Party Manufacturers, maintain current and develop new supplier partnerships and continuously seek to drive increased profitability via innovation and maintaining alignment with our strategic direction. Your role and responsibilities will include but not be restricted to the following:
- Build relationship with suppliers based on collaboration & interdependency and openness;
- Make decisions based on total supply chain impact and tailored to category segment;
- Review purchasing, Inventory outcomes and KPI’s against plans, highlighting reasons below agreed targets and opportunities for improvement;
- Liaise with internal marketing, sales and NPD stakeholders and with external suppliers to support new and existing marketing/NPD plans;
- Minimise risk to the Business on supplier and ingredient reliance by having approved alternative suppliers and ingredients.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented focus;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Solid knowledge of best practice Procurement and supplier management processes;
- Previous exposure in managing a major organisation's supply chain function with exposure to all aspects including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, planning/capacity management and production activities.
- Experience in the delivery of significant cost savings or process improvements related to the management of a procurement function.
- Experience in measuring and reporting service and cost within procurement.
- Degree qualified in Commerce, Logistics, Science or Engineering desirable.
