Position Overview:

The purpose of this position is to assist in the smooth flow of production in relation to keeping enough materials up to the Plastic Injection Moulding Machines enabling them to produce conforming product to the customer requirements.

Also ensuring that finished product is wrapped and or moved into the Stores or Print Departments for dispatch to our customers or further work to be performed as required.

Job Function:

·      Ensure enough material is at each machine designated to run production during that day at the start of shift.

·      Ensure Machine Hoppers remain full or partially full so as to not run out of material (if material runs out will cause delay in production).

·      Material to be placed in Dryers in readiness for next job as required

·      Continually monitor Hopper levels to prevent un-necessary unloading of excess material at end of production run and or shift. 

·      Keep track of all Virgin / Raw Materials in Store area.

·      Keep Pallet / Skid quantities in factory for production use.

·      After product has been palletized, shrink wrapped and labelled move it to the Stores Area.

**NOTE:  This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive but the employee may need to perform other related duties to meet the changing needs of our Company.

·      At end of shift empty Machine Hoppers and purge as required

·      Time permitting remove all production rubbish to outside bins.

Time permitting take away reject product and place neatly out in Rear Yard

Current 'HRW' Forklift licence shall be necessary for this posititon.
