We are seeking a full time Supervisor to join our SA Distribution Centre. Previous leadership experience in logistics or similar role required

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of the warehouse, overseeing personnel and inventory.
This role supports warehouse management to ensure timely and cost effective receipt of stock and distribution of products to our retail network
The main duties and key responsibilities of the role are:
- Planning, organizing and controlling of overall operations in the warehouse
- Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets
- Provide reports/handovers to Team Leaders and Warehouse Manager
- Develop and maintain a professional and motivated team
- Ensure all staff are trained and compliant with operating procedures, company policies & procedures and their implications
- Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
- Ensure all Outbound orders are handled efficiently and accurately
- Initiate continuous improvement ideas.
- Overseeing the integrity of inbound receipts, maintaining KPI's
- Ensure inventory accuracy in maintained
- Drive safety in the team, comply with all OHS procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous warehouse leadership is a must
- Have ability to multi-task while leading a warehouse team of minimum 40 employees
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Outstanding customer service and people management
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience.
- Microsoft Excel and/or Scale WMS system experience an advantage.
- Current forklift ticket is essential.
