Reporting to the GM, nudie, the Head of Planning will  influence the Demand and Supply Planning activities related to nudie Branded Products, for all Manufacturing sites, third party manufacturing and third-party product suppliers, local and imported.  Your role and responsibilities will include but not be restricted to the following:

• Oversee supply chain planning and inventory systems and process improvements;
• Strategy and leadership of the engagement and management process with key partners, in particular the Sales, Operations, 3rd party manufacturing and distributors, and Key account customers;
• Assume responsibility for all operational aspects of MNA Planning and effective optimisation of the Supply Chain footprint;
• Chair the weekly S&OP facilitators meeting, to ensure that S&OP issues are being progressed and appropriate discussions and decisions are being made in S&OP reviews

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics

• Very strong experience in FMCG supply chain management and procurement.
• Degree qualified in Commerce, Logistics, Science or Engineering.
• Post graduate qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics and APICS qualifications desirable
• A high level understanding of supply chain management processes and best practice
• Previous exposure in managing a major organisation’s supply chain function with exposure to all aspects including procurement, planning/capacity management and production and warehouse & distribution activities.
• Significant experience in the development of supply chain strategies.  In addition, experiences which point to a successful track record in the delivery of these strategies.
• Experience in the delivery of significant cost savings or process improvements related to the management of a supply chain function.
• Key driver of a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• A team player, positive influencer and communicator and prepared for a high degree of fun!!
