Our client, located in Springvale, is currently seeking an experienced Storeman for a temp-perm role. The successful candidate will be experienced in manual container unloading, reach forklift, storeman duties and working towards meeting KPI's. Immediate start available!
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-
- Manually unloading containers of furniture received from suppliers
- Picking and packing stock to fill customer orders
- Loading trucks/or containers for despatch
- Operating forklifts or reach forklift
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience:-
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of Storeman experience in the Warehousing industry.
- Reach Forklift experience
- LF license with recent work experience (reach preferable.)
- Physically fit to be able to endure the manual lifting tasks
- Picking and packing
- Container unloading
- Hands on and well experienced in stock control
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A strong safety focus in a fast paced environment.
- Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have reliable transport
