Reporting to the Operations Supervisor your main focus will be to provide a quality service that is the reliable, courteous, efficient and productive collection, transportation and disposal of waste that meets our clients' needs.

As a Driver with experience heavy vehicles, you will be happy to learn different vehicle types and be able to maximise scheduling efficiency. You will be willing and able to do early starts and be a hard worker. A strong customer focus is essential.

DUTIES

• Provide a high level of service to customers
• To ensure that your driving licence is current, appropriate and free from any restriction.
• To record all collections made
• To wear the company supplied uniform and footwear
• To complete the pre and post trip inspections
• To understand, acknowledge and work towards KPIs

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a valid HR licence
• Be happy to do early starts and/or varied starts when required
• Have a customer focus
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation of vehicle, inside and out
• Be hardworking and responsible
• Pass an acceptable test of driving skills and an aptitude test in relation to the operation of equipment
• Be in the possession of acceptable references, performance history and character indications
• Have experience in the waste industry or similar (advantageous but not essential)
• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Be able to provide up to date VIC Roads Records at Interview Stage
