MiniFAB is a world leading provider of custom designed manufactured medical devices. Due to continued strong growth, they currently require a Production Operator to join the team on an on-going casual basis. The Production Operator will carry out fine assembly of products, packing duties, machine operation, quality control and various production duties within MiniFAB’s ISO 13485 and GMP regulated state-of-the-art manufacturing facility (clean room environment).
Candidates who have worked in production and quality control roles within highly regulated environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing will be highly regarded.
This vacancy is within the morning shift (6am - 2pm).
An immediate start is available to the right candidate.
Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Fine assembly of prototypes using hand-held tools
- Using measurement equipment, jigs and other hand-held tools
- Packing medical device parts and products
- Machine operation
- Working to production schedule to meet manufacturing targets
- Reporting to the Production Supervisor
Essential skills and requirements:
- Strong experience in a busy GMP manufacturing environment
- Proven experience working as manufacturing operator with QC experience
- Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal + basic computer skills
- Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
- Great attention to detail / Takes pride in quality of work
- Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
