Workfast is looking for Industrial Sewer, Industrial Sewing Machinist or Sewing Machine Operator join their team in Prestons, just a short 25 minute drive from Blacktown or 30min from Parramatta.
Candidates must have 1-2 year/s experience in sewing, sewing machine operation or industrial material fabrication, be reliable and hardworking.This job is a long term, ongoing casual position with full-time hours for the right candidates.

Requirements:
- Physically capable as material can be awkward to manoeuvre
- Relevant experience as an industrial sewer or with industrial sewing, preferably for industrial products
- Experience as a sewing machine operator or sewing machinist
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Warehousing/Production/Factory Experience desirable
- Own transport/ability to get to work
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate an industrial sewing machine
- Measuring and Cutting Materials
- Sew and assemble pieces of plastic like materials to specifications
- Quality assurance and frequent inspections of work
- Any duties assigned by the supervisor
- Manual handling and lifting if required
- Working in a team
