Who we are

In Line Pallets (ILP) is an independent pallet management service provider operating since 2007.  ILP assists its customers by ensuring that all of its processes are set up to capture all pallet movements by 2ic Software then ILP performs the reconciliation, investigation and reporting. ILP actively seeks new methods to streamline pallet tracking processes and detect trends before issues become major problems

The opportunity

As the Pallet Manager, you will have total responsibility for the management of the national pallet system to our key customer, a large big-box retailer.  You will be working onsite with our Analyst to ensure that the customer's pallet management system is maintained. 

What you will get to do

The Pallet Manager will be responsible for all facets of the pallet account reconciliation process.  Your main responsibilities will include;

  • Completing all tasks in 2ic Software
  • Data analysis tasks in Excel
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the customer
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the customer's supply chain
  • Meeting the customer's KPIs pursuant to ILP standards
  • Preparing and delivering reports to management
  • Training and supervision of staff

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has;

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in pallet account management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with 2ic Software
  • Experience with managing large databases including generating reports
  • Superior MS Excel skills
  • Proven ability to adhere to strict timelines and meet KPIs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of business
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and follow-through skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and developing rapport
  • Proven success in realising value through the implementation of roadmaps, tools and frameworks
  • Pallet loss investigations
  • Management/End of Month reporting
  • Supply chain operational history/knowledge
  • Evidence of successful change management experience
  • Negotiation skills
  • SAP knowledge (desirable)
  • Success in similar role
