Chandler Macleod currently has numerous opportunities available at one of its major client sites in Melbourne’s West - a leading meat manufacturer located in Truganina. Our client is the national leader in fresh meat products and boasts a state-of-the-art, fast paced operation, distributing meat and meat products across the country.

To help them maintain their commitment to superior quality and service, and due to an increase in their production, they are looking to train and develop new staff to facilitate the growth that they are anticipating to experience across 2018.

The roles are casual-ongoing positions with shift lengths being up to 12 hours in duration. All uniforms and PPE are provided on site and there are fantastic staff facilities, including a fully operational canteen.

To be considered for these opportunities, it is essential that you have previous experience with, or are prepared to be trained in, the following tasks:

• Use of knife and Band Saw to trim and cut meats

• Cleaning, washing and maintenance of site facilities

• Machine Operating

• Quality checking

• You will need to be comfortable to work within all areas of the site and be comfortable to perform manual handing of products weighing up to 25kgs.

Applicants MUST be comfortable to work with all meat products - Beef, Pork, Chicken and Lamb and happy to work in a cool room environment (6 degrees) for the duration of the shifts.

Own car and licence is essential, along with flexibility to attend work on short notice.

The hours of operations on site are 6am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday - you must have full availability to work shifts across this span of hours.
