The Role
ING Australia is in the market for one of our key roles in Procurement, the IT Category Procurement Manager. This position is accountable for delivering effective Procurement methods that continually improves the Bank?s position and delivers ongoing value.
The IT Category Procurement Manager will take responsibility for identifying opportunities with IT business stakeholders and ways in which third parties can be used most effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering
- Sourcing
- Supplier Management
- Request to Pay
- Project management of supplier transitions
- Risk Management, Compliance
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree or certification in relevant discipline
- You will have a strong understanding and knowledge of IT service providers and vendor marketplace, as well as deep expertise in IT sourcing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the required tasks in past roles for 5+ years (minimum 2 years in IT)
- Proven influencing skills
