Are you an experienced CNC / Waterjet / CMS Operator that’s looking for a new challenge? If so, our client wants you to join their Afternoon Shift Production team. They are a leader in providing solutions to commercial and residential needs as a premier supplier of high performance glass and glazing solutions.
This is a specialised role where you are responsible for producing glass shapes with/without holes or cutouts. Working hours are Monday - Thursday / 2:30pm - 10:30pm & Friday / 12noon - 6pm. Your hourly rate is dependant upon experience but you can expect between $25 - $28 p/hr + shift allowance.
Key Duties include (but not limited to):-
• Operate the CNC / Waterjet / CMS machinery
• Focus on Quality, Productivity and Safety while actively contributing to the machine efficiencies
• Maintain machinery, systems and quality records
• Demonstrate operational compliance with procedures
• Working in a manufacturing environment
• General work station cleaning duties
• Some heavy lifting may be required
Skills & Experience:-
• Previous experience working as a CNC / Waterjet or CMS Operator within a manufacturing environment
• Computer literacy in the use of these specific machines software
• Ability to follow sequences, load, unload and sort glass as required
• Ability to trouble shoot minor faults
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A very strong safety focus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Able to provide a current resume with two recent contactable work references from a similar role
• Able to pass a medical (including drug and alcohol testing)
• Capable of performing sometimes heavy, repetitious manual tasks
