Operating for several years now, Extrastaff have offices all over Australia. Here in Queensland our offices are located in Rocklea, Maroochydore, Mackay & Townsville. 

Extrastaff are currently seeking experienced High reach forklift operators for a causal on-going position with a well-known organisation located in Darra, QLD. Our client is one of Australia's largest dairy-based ingredients suppliers, supplying high quality and innovative dairy products to the retail, food service and food ingredient markets. 

These positions are based in a fast paced distribution warehouse operating on both day and afternoon shifts, Monday through to Saturday.

Core responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• High reach forklift operation
• Loading and Unloading
• Stacking pallets
• Occasional picking/packing
• General Housekeeping

To be successful, applicants will need to posses the following: 

• Australian High risk work (Forklift) license with demonstrated experience on a high reach forklift
• Previous experience within the food manufacturing/ warehouse industry
• Previous exposure to cold working environments advantageous - Ability to withstand working in a cool environment
• Sound knowledge in appropriate WHS & OHS procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast paced environment
• Available for an immediate start
• Flexible to work both Day and Afternoon shifts
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Efficient, reliable and hard working 
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team to ensure goals are achieved
• MUST be available for ON-CALL work 
• MUST have YOUR OWN reliable transport and driver's license
• Be able to provide AT LEAST ONE professional reference
