Job tasks and responsibilities

To develop continued growth and increased market share we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our successful Sydney Branch. Your primary focus will be to develop, market, and gain new businesses for a variety of global trade lanes.

Your job will encompass new sales development across Rohlig's global trade lanes to achieve set goals and targets. This business has many sound customer relationships from which to network additional new business opportunities as well as a volume of untapped market opportunities. You will need to be able monitor and understand the current market to identify trends and competitors' activities and must be confident and active in seeking, developing, and securing new businesses.

Skills and experience

You are an entrepreneurial sales professional with a successful track record in prospecting and targeting key clients. Your innovation, strategic approach, business acumen and ability to develop proven tailored marketing campaigns and implementing sales strategies have resulted in a steady and stable growth in your client list.

Demonstrated sales and operational knowledge of the freight forwarding industry is essential.
