dnata Airport Services Pty. Limited is a national provider of Ground Handling and Cargo services to a number of major international Airlines. We are part of the global dnata International network and a subsidiary of the Emirates Group.
We are seeking an Air Services Agent's to join the Brisbane Cargo Operations team based near Brisbane International Airport.
This role is for a permanent part-time (min 24 hours per week) and will be required to work shift work including, early starts, late finishes, nights, weekends and public holidays.
The purpose of this role is to perform airfreight and associated cargo handling duties as directed in a safe, efficient and productive manner in accordance with dnata Airport Services policies and procedures and within the regulations as set out by statutory bodies.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role are (but not limited to):
- Accurate processing of import/export cargo utilising the dnata operating systems;
- Loading and unloading of cargo in a safe and efficient manner;
- Safely operate forklifts as required in accordance with SOP's;
- Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling system.
Skills, Experience and Licenses:
- Current QLD Drivers License;
- Current Forklift License;
- Previous experience in an Operational environment where SOP's were in place;
- Basic – Intermediate computer skills;
- Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written;
- High level of customer service skills;
- Understands the importance of meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA's);
- Excellent team player with a positive/can-do attitude;
- Works in a Safe Manner at all times;
- Reliable, trustworthy and has the ability to work independently.
