The Company:
My client is an Australian owned family company with over 50 years providing top quality products nationwide. This position will see you working as part of a large brand name in an industry that’s experiencing an unprecedented boom & boasts a well-known, impressive portfolio of products.
The Position:
As part of a high performing team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager you will be accountable for but not limited to:
- Stock inventory and control
- Purchase raw materials, packaging, trading goods and/or services under supervision, at the best price in relation to quality, quantity and delivery requirements
- Procurement and communicating regularly with suppliers
- Manage and reconcile consignment stock usage and invoicing with key Vendors
- Tracking project progress and quality of work
- To maintain accurate costings and relevant SAP updates for items sourced domestically and internationally
- General Administration and Assistant to Management
The Candidate:
You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Purchasing, Inventory/Replenishment Management, or commensurate industry experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing/FMCG environment. You have excellent numeric and strong communication skills, good problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
