About the Company:
Flexi Staff Pty Ltd is a leading Australian owned and managed company specialising in all aspects of recruitment and labour hire.
Due to our continued growth and success we are looking for an experienced Yard Hand to start work immediately for a global company which specialises in onshore and offshore storage and transportation products.
The Role:
Working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm the successful candidate main duty will be to carry out container, tank and industrial basket maintenance in the yard, ready for mobilisation.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Carrying out routine maintenance including painting, grinding, minor welding, repairing, needle and sealing etc.
- Maintaining container yard and workshop facilities
- Ordering of supplies
- Liaise with transport companies
- Forklift driving duties when required
- You will also be required to interface with operation staff such as truck drivers and clients.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a similar role as a Yard Person.
- Current WA C Class Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Dogging ticket - Advantage
- Working at Heights - Advantage
- Police Clearance
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
