Full-Time Plant Operator Position
This thriving family ran manufacturing company has a solid track record and is currently recruiting for plant operator positions. Manufacturing high-quality food ingredients for both domestic and export markets we are looking for talented individuals who are ready to take charge and start their career. You will be able to work well as part of a team, take responsibility for your actions and have excellent communication skills. Shift work is involved, and extra shift work payments with opportunities for overtime earnings, the high season we can work 7-day shifts rosters. Your tasks are varied and include:
Opportunity to learn all aspects of our dairy/food ingredients processing and to operate a spray drier, we teach you to be a dairy craftsman.
- Responsible for production ensuring equipment is available and working according to safety, quality and production standards.
- Completes appropriate quality control checks.
- Understand and operate the evaporator, separator, pasteurizer, spray dryer, homogenisers and batching plant, CIP cleaning systems and general cleaning and hygiene within the plant
- Must have some mechanical aptitude
- Maintain accurate and complete records and reports declaring discrepancies, collect retention samples and prepare samples for micro evaluation.
- Deliver on quality and safety and output, ensuring the environment is appropriate for your team at all times.
- Demonstrates, understands and complies with all HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, Hygiene, and Quality, OHS procedures and policies.
