ABOUT THE ROLE
Chemcouriers Sydney is currently looking to recruit a new team member to join the PM Operations team based at the Mainfreight super site in Prestons.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will be varied but most of all you will be involved in the day-to-day loading of our customers’ freight to a number of interstate destinations. You will also be required to liaise and work with the Mainfreight Operations team and the various Mainfreight loaders on a daily basis to ensure that all of our valued customers freight is being loaded on the date of receipt and in the most efficient and profitable manner.
Longer term goals are based on helping develop the Chemcouriers brand in Australia while having a leading hand in growing the brand and the team in Sydney.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport, preferably with experience and knowledge in the handling and transporting of hazardous and dangerous goods; while this is advantageous it is not essential as comprehensive training will be given. However a commitment to becoming a “specialist in hazardous goods distribution”, a good sense of humour and a good work ethic are a must.
