- Advanced optical technology for medical devices
Fulltime role based in Sydney. We are a start-up Medical Device company specialising in Cervical Cancer Screening and are listed on the New Zealand stock exchange.
The device uses opto-electrical technology to determine whether cervical tissue is cancerous.
Due to growth in market demand we are seeking an experienced process operator for production of a precision optical-mechanical assembly.
Job description:
- Responsible for accurate fabrication and assembly of products with minimum supervision after training
- Test and inspection of assemblies and product
- Care, maintenance and calibration checks of tools, jigs and fixtures
- Accurate data entry and record keeping
Key words – Optics – fibre polishing, fabrication, manufacturing, optical measurement, epoxies, electronic interface, calibration, medical devices,
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Engineering Associate or Laboratory Technical Officer Level II
- Minimum 3-5 year's experience in manufacturing preferably in a medical or advanced technology manufacturing environment
- Able to undertake precision assembly with patience and care.
- Ideally with experience with optics, epoxies, electronic assemblies.
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team to solve common goals
- Eligible for fulltime employment in Australia.
