Objectives:

Ensuring customers receive high-quality meals, accurate to order and on time

Innovate, reengineer and implement the necessary changes and ensure efficient and effective processes, procedures and protocols aimed for:

Cost efficiency of our high-volume end-to-end production processes

Cost efficiency of ordering and production inputs
-
Minimal wastage and errors (implement zero error tolerance protocols)

Optimal use of labour resources

Outline of duties and job components:
-
Full time leadership oversight of the production floor and all its activities. We produce over 50,000 meals per month and ship nationally

Management of all labour resources (scheduling, rostering, oversight of duties carried out to a high standard) of our pool of circa 25 staff
-
Manage & Train team leaders
-
Oversee and approve rostering and staff allocation for maximum efficiency
-
Assist team leaders in efficiently managing and scheduling their tasks

Set goals and targets
-
As necessary re-organise teams and team leader positions
-
Train current and new team leaders and supervisors
-

Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and reengineer processes and procedures
-
Propose, develop business cases and implement the adoption of new equipment and upgrades for improved automation and efficiency gains

Assist with meal innovation and new meal development. Regularly integrate new meals into the production process work closely with Chefs.

As necessary, re-organise the freezer storage system consistent with the overall efficiency objectives and process innovation

Manage supply chain to support the overall production objectives and to:

maintain and improve highest food quality standards

ensure efficient pricing
-
ensure reliable supply and optimal stock levels

foster good supplier relationships

manage and approve all purchasing

Manage and maintain a high standard of WHS, HACCP & Food Safety.
