Due to exceptional growth within our bustling Dandenong depot, Border Express currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Operator to join the Morning Operations team on a full-time basis!
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for assisting with the efficient loading and unloading of freight from vehicles, ensuring even and organised distribution of freight and maximum utilisation of trailer real estate.
You will be highly vigilant and alert of your surroundings, doing well to protect yourself and your colleagues from potential harm, both on and off the forklift. All the while, maintaining respect of equipment and ensuring the highest level of safety in the workplace is adhered to. About You
Our ideal candidate must possess the following key skills and experience:
- Minimum two years Forklift experience in the Transport Industry;
- Express Transport Industry experience;
- Interstate Loading/Unloading experience;
- Ability to adhere to WHS & Safety Regulations;
- Understanding of DG compliance;
- Current Forklift Licence;
- Truck Licence (MR/HR/HC/MC) is favourable but not essential.
