Production Operator
Fixed Term – 6 months
Immediate start
Located in Reservoir, Diver Consolidated Industries (DCI) is a leading manufacturer of metal pressings, welded assemblies, hinges and heat and acoustic shields, for many diverse industries.
DCI currently requires a day shift Production Operator who will ensure parts are manufactured, packed and labelled in accordance with plans and production schedules.
Duties will include:
- manufacturing metal products using metal stamping presses, hand tools and other related machinery
- inspecting products and isolating defective items
- packing and labelling finished parts into designated containers
- maintaining the cleanliness of general working areas and machinery
- working in a safe manner and observing all company health and safety procedures
- working as part of a team.
Ideally you will;
- be physically fit,
- be able to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically,
- have an awareness of safe work practices,
- have good eye/hand co-ordination,
- have good attention to detail
- preferably have experience in a sheet metal environment
