Leading a small production team in the fast turnaround custom manufacturing of protective transport packaging materials. Using operations principles and lean manufacturing techniques to achieve the most efficiency results daily. This role can grow into a National Operations Manager role. This is an exciting and dynamic role in Rebul Packaging (www.rebul.com.au), a national, award winning manufacturer of custom boxes and crates for the safe transport of the most valuable goods, with manufacturing facilities in Brisbane and Melbourne.
We have a young, committed and ambitious team at Rebul, and we are looking for a passionate and developing individual to join our growing company. At Rebul, your work will include cutting materials, operating equipment, packing, building boxes and crates, and general warehousing activities. We are looking for someone who understands manufacturing techniques such as six sigma, 5S and lean manufacturing. We have a strong culture of growth, so we will help you with all the on the job training you require, and encourage you to strive for continued development. The successful applicant would need to fulfill the following criteria:
1. Be positive, committed and reliable individual of solid character
2. Be good with numbers, good with their hands and good with tools
3. Be quick on their feet and have good personal fitness
4. Must be an outstanding communicator and deal with conflict well
5. Outstanding attention to detail and understand technical drawings
6. Manual drivers license
7. Experience in leading a team

- Experience with lean manufacturing principles such as six sigma, 5S
- Carpentry, cabinet making or crate making experience
- Forklift license
