ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading direct importer within their specialised field based on the North Shore of Sydney.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Customer Service Operator is what they need to join their highly successful team.
DUTIES
- Account Management
- Accepting and placing orders ensuring correct specifications, prices, special requirements etc are detailed
- Corresponding with your customers
- Daily updating of customer shipping reports
- Collating and despatch of shipping documentation
- Liaising with Australian and New Zealand customs agents
- Liaising with overseas service centres to obtain documentation
- Daily communication with services providers, your customer and Sales Managers.
- Ensuring all issues and concerns are raised with the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.
- Keeping up to date with your correspondence and participating in customer meetings where
appropriate
- Customer forecasting; responsible for your customer allocation
- Processing and ensuring accuracy of customer invoicing
- General administration; paper and electronic filing, answering phones, helping out colleagues etc
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Sound level of education
- Excellent attention to detail a must
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fully computerised environment
- Ability to learn new computer systems
- Ability to learn new procedures
- Communicate verbally and in writing at all levels both internally and externally.
- Work independently and also within a team environment
