The role:
Based in Moama, NSW, we require a Store Person to assist the Purchasing Manager with the day to day running of the store warehouse. This is a fulltime role with the opportunity to work overtime during increased production hours.
Activities include, but are not limited to…
- Good inwards receipting
- Updating systems (M1) to reflect accurate stock levels
- Use of the Kanban inventory control system
- Efficient and accurate paperwork management
- Loading and unloading containers
- General forklift use
- Kitting parts for manufacture
- Maintenance of stock control and accurate stock levels.
- Cleaning and general workshop maintenance
- Issuing parts and consumables over the counter to production employees
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Prior experience working in a store dealing in parts or a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not required.
- A working knowledge of engineering and production terminology would be advantageous but is not required and on the job training will be provided.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand computer systems and have the willingness to learn new systems.
- Have a great attention to detail and work in an orderly fashion.
- Hold a current forklift and manual car license.
