Wood is currently recruiting a Storeperson on a permanent basis who is highly motivated and a self-starter. Located at Winneke, the Northern Treatment Plant, the successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of warehousing including the management of goods, materials and dispatch activities.
Wood has sixteen years’ experience providing maintenance services to Australia’s water industry and our achievements have been considered world class best practice for maintenance in water utilities by the MCP AIMS.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations in the warehouse
- Ensure all goods are accounted for and distributed efficiently
- Deliver a high level of internal and external customer service
- Driving change and improvements within warehousing and HSE
Skills / Qualifications
- Previous working experience in spare parts warehouse environment
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to multitask
- Be proactive and have effective communication skills
- High level of organisational skills
- Inventory management experience
- Forklift license
