What we are looking for?

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated record of a minimum of 5 years successful achievement in supply chain forecasting and demand planning, within fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) or similar industry roles, in large complex organisations with multiple stock holding sites.
• Expert understanding of ‘best in class' strategic and transactional forecasting and demand planning concepts and approaches, including the fundamental levers for optimising service levels, inventory costs and inventory levels.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, attention to detail and very good understanding of forecasting and demand planning systems, tools and techniques.
• Advanced capabilities using Microsoft Excel and SAP S4HANAwith the ability to model scenarios and manage large data sets. 
• Commercial acumen and advanced level influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance an analytical and customer service mind set.

Mandatory qualifications/professional registration/other requirements

• While not mandatory, relevant tertiary qualifications may be an advantage.
• Some travel throughout Queensland will be required from time to time.
