The opportunity
We are looking for Drivers – Full time/Part time/Casual for our Tullamarine depot that is a self-starter, organised and highly efficient individual. You will be working both in an unsupervised and in a team environment.
You will:
- On-time collection of consignment from clients
- Loading and unloading of freight
- Airway bills and con note generation
- Warehousing duties including pick-packing and stock taking
- Checking consignments on correct packaging
- Collection and verification of the completeness and correctness of the consignment note and associated paperwork
- Ensuring all consignment will be updated with the correct status code for tracking & tracing purposes
About You:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal
- Reliability and punctuality
- Strong geographical knowledge
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Flexibility with working hours
- A current Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence is desirable
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Experience in a pickup and delivery environment
