Airfreight Export Operator

The Role

• Receive Bookings From Export Freight  From Customers And Complete Job Registrations
• Book Shipments With Airlines
• Arrange Pick –Up And Organise Cartage
• Coordinate Documentation Process With Exporter and AQIS
• Ensuring Compliance With Australian Customs
• Cutting House And Master AWB's
• Liaise With Warehouse And Transport Operations To Lodge Cargo Without Delays
• Ensure Final Billing/Charges To Clients Are Correct And On Time
• Ensure Expedite Cargo Operations
• Track Shipments And Provide Relevant Updates To Overseas Agents Until Arrival
• Provide Excellent Customer Service Experience At All Times
• Report Profit And Loss To Management Team
• Adhere To Company Policies And Procedures

Skills

• 3 Years Experience In Perishables Export Airfreight (Essential)
• Knowledge Of Relevant Legislation
• Strong And Proven Work Ethic , Proactive Attitude And Ability To Work Well In A Team
• High Level Of Customer Service
• Multi-Tasker Who Can Work In A Busy Environment
• Good Analytical And Decision Making Skills
• Excellent Organisation And Prioritising
• Flexibility With Working Hours, Willing To Work Outside Office Hours
• Dangerous Goods Certificate And Security Training  (Preferred)
• Logistics Diploma (Preferred)
• Able To Work Unsupervised

To be considered in this position you must have at least 3 years recent export airfreight experience for this position , a great attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment.    Only candidates who meet criteria will be contacted.
