Rheem as market leader has an unequalled reputation for large scale manufacturing and commitment to local manufacturing. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Maintenance Manager to join the Rheem Operations team based at Rydalmere. Reporting to the Rydalmere Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 6 Managers, 1 Electrical Engineer, 23 tradespeople, 5 cleaners and a maintenance administrator.
The role is responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance, continuous improvement and project management.
The Maintenance Manager is part of the operations management team working in conjunction with Production, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Continuous Improvement, OH&S and R&D functions.
To be the successful candidate you will have:
- Industrial or Engineering Degree
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering field with a minimum of 5 years in a Maintenance Management role
- Knowledge of and skills in the practical application of engineering science, technology and manufacturing processes. Ability to apply engineering principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and production of goods. Specific understanding of flow line manufacturing.
- Solid project management skills including the ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate engineering designs and process projects
- Planning and Organising. Ability to establish work plans, monitor progress and complete tasks on time and on budget
- Demonstrated skills in relationship management and influencing at all levels of the organisation
- Knowledge of 6 Sigma Process capabilities
