Stockwell International is an Australian owned company and an industry leader in the fields of International Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, local transport, storage and warehousing. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Import Operations.

Prior experience of at least 3 years with recent exposure to import ocean and air operations preferred.  You will also be required to support our forwarding team with other facets of day to day forwarding responsibilities.  Candidates not meeting these requirements will not be considered.                    

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Key Responsibilities

· Process import bookings and co-ordinate customer orders with overseas agents

· Communicate with customers, service providers, airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents

· Shipment order tracking / status reports

· Job invoicing / processing creditor invoices

·  Arranging transport / cartage

·  Maintain safe and clean working area by complying with company policies and procedures.

Key Strengths/Skills

·  Proven experience and skills

·  Strong communications skills both written and verbal

·  Experience on Cargowise / ICS / Excel

·  Strong attention to detail

·  Excellent customer service skills

·   Able to effectively time manage your workload

·   Able to work autonomously

·   Basic understanding of Workplace Safety

Employment Standards

·   Current Drivers license

·   School Certificate

·   Minimum of 12 months experience in similar role
