Our client, a National Galvanizing Company are currently seeking a number of reliable General Hand Labourers to assist in various sections of their Industrial Plant located in Girraween.
These roles are on going Monday to Friday on a 6am-2pm day shift OR 2pm - 10pm afternoon shift.
This role could see you starting our in either dispatch, spin (small galvanizing) or structural (larger galvanizing) areas of the plant. Candidates who show initiative will be able to move up within the plant, earning greater responsibilities and remuneration.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Wiring pieces iron to jig ready for galvanizing
- Grinding excess zinc and burrs off finished galvanized iron
- Packing galvanized products ready for dispatch
- General Factory Hand duties
To be suited for this role you must:
- Be available to work Monday to Friday
- Flexible to work either Day or Afternoon shifts
- Have reliable transport
- Capable of Manual Handling up to 20kgs
- MUST be able to pass DRUG & Alcohol testing
- Willingness to Learn & work your way up!
