The Company
A great career opportunity is available for a significant sized Transport and Logistics business unit within a large logistics corporate owning more than 400 heavy vehicles in operation across NSW. They operate one of Australia’s largest dedicated fleets, providing bulk transport and logistics solutions for different business within industrial sector.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within the group with a very competitive remuneration package. This organisation is growing at an increasing rate and invest heavily in best of class assets and maintenance facilities to service their valued customer base. The allocation is between 200 and 250 loads a day in multiple trucks returning to their sites throughout the day for the next load, more than 1000 decisions need to be done per day as well as the communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for allocating in a manner that ensure safety and legal compliance, responding to drivers and customer service staff promptly, ensure that all government regulations are being adhered to within the operation, ensure runs are always organised in a manner that reach high levels of productivity, fairness and equity amongst drivers.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role you will be an excellent communicator, very good prioritising tasks, good time management and great personality. You have a solid background in manufacturing industry or courier transport and enjoys working in a fast paced busy working environment.
