ABOUT THE ROLE
Licenced Customs Broker lodging both Air Freight & Sea Freight Clearances.

Late start available for the right candidate (e.g 9/9:30 --> 5:30 / 6:00)

Work in an autonomous role where on-going training and support is provided. 
Handle workflow as set by the Customs Manager. The role is open to licensed brokers at either end of the experience scale, a critical element being adaptive to change and open to support work (compile / classify where required). 
 
DUTIES
• Process and lodge a high volume of files
• Ability to be hands on with compiling and classification
• Identify ACS, AQIS and ATO duties and tax initiatives to benefit the customs
• Resolve specific and technical queries for both clients and fellow brokers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
• 2-4 years’ as a licenced Customs Broker preferred  
• EDI Cargowise experience beneficial however not critical
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understand the import (air/sea) process
