The Role
Reporting to the GM of Supply Chain, this role will be the interface between internal supply chain and sales. Ideally long term, they will focus on providing accurate short and mid-term forecasts, whilst working closely with the customer to ensure high levels of service. Working closely with sales, distribution and supply planning, the Demand Manager will play an integral role in development and maintenance of the weekly and monthly demand process.
They will be critical in implementing the demand review, reporting and demand management processes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing the wider business visibility into short and medium term promotional and new product volumes and constraints using all operational, sales and marketing information available. This position will be empowered to drive business supply strategy and create, lead and review the demand processes.
Skills & Experience
- Flexible, confident and strong in character
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Significant exposure to demand planning and S&OP within the FMCG or food manufacturing sectors
- Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Extremely strong Microsoft Excel skills coupled with ERP skills (preferably Optimity)
